The park consists of three distinct areas i.e. ‘Bandhavgarh National Park’, ‘Panpatha Wildlife Sanctuary’ which make up the “Core Area” and the adjoining notified “Buffer Area” spread across the districts of Umaria, Shahdol and Katni.
